<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium ion containing nonaqueous electrolyte capable of extracting excellent characteristics of metal magnesium as a negative electrode active material, and capable of being manufactured in general manufacturing environments such as in a dry room, as well as a manufacturing method thereof and an electrochemical device using the electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode 11 is structured of a positive electrode can 1, a positive electrode pellet 2 consisting of a positive electrode active material or the like, and a metal net support body 3. A negative electrode 12 is structured of a negative electrode cap 4, and a negative electrode active material 5 such as metal magnesium. The positive electrode pellet 2 and the negative electrode active material 5 are arranged so as to pinch a separator 6, inside which 6, electrolytic solution 7 is injected. The electrolytic solution 7 is synthesized by adding metal magnesium, halogenated hydrocarbon (such as CH<SB>3</SB>I), halogenated aluminum (such as AlCl<SB>3</SB>), and quaternary ammonium salt (such as CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>N(C<SB>4</SB>H<SB>9</SB>)<SB>4</SB>) to an ether based organic solvent (such as 1,2-dimethoxy ethane) and put them under heat treatment while stirring them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
