PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately calculate a proper amount of money according to measured weight. SOLUTION: A portable terminal device using weight measurement method of this invention is characteristically provided with a parameter input means, a weight calculation means, and an amount of money calculation means. The parameter input means is provided with a function to input a parameter representing a price per prescribed weight of the objective matter. The weight calculation means is provided with a function for calculating the weight of the objective matter. The amount of money calculation means is provided with a function for calculating the amount of money according to the weight of the objective matter using the parameter inputted by the parameter input means and the weight calculated by the weight calculation means.
