PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device which enables a person to be measured to utilize a difference acquiring function by his free will, without being limited in the use of a difference output function. SOLUTION: When a start switch S is pushed down and the person to be measured gets on the main body of the measuring device 100, the weight of the person is measured and a measured value of the weight is stored in an updating manner in a rewritable memory 150c as measuring data xi (i is a natural number). In the case when the start switch S and a difference key F are pushed down, the measuring data xi stored in the rewritable memory 150c are read out and indicated for a while in an indicating part 120. The indicating part 120 once presents zero indication "0.00" thereafter, and when the person to be measured gets on the main body next time, the weight of the person is measured. CPU 110 executes a difference output processing wherein a difference between a measuring value obtained this time and the measuring data xi read out from the rewritable memory 150c is determined on the basis of an arithmetic formula read out from ROM 150b and is outputted.
