PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a door from getting not to open when water accumulating at the base in a treatment tank by vacuum cooling is refrigerated in a subsequent cold air cooling. SOLUTION: A treatment tank 3 of this cooling apparatus 1 is provided with a substantially rectangular and hollow box-shape treatment tank body 12 opened to the front side, and a door 13 for opening/closing the opening part of the treatment tank body 12. A packing 14 is provided surrounding the opening part of the treatment tank 12. The door 13 has a heater 4 along the lower side of the opening part of the treatment tank body 12. When a cooler 6 is functioned to cool a cooling object 2 to a chilled range or a refrigerated range, a heater 4 is actuated.
