PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear structure capable of effectively receiving and distributing a load at a rear-end collision. SOLUTION: The vehicle body rear structure comprises a rear wheel house 14 having an upper surface extending in an arch shape in a side view, and a rear side frame 8 which extends in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body inside the vehicle width direction from the rear wheel house, and is coupled with the lower side of a rear floor pan with the rear end thereof connected to a rear end panel 6 at the rear end of the rear floor pan, and further comprises a reinforcing member 30 for coupling the upper surface of the wheel house with a cab side panel 24 extending thereabove, and a rear side outer frame 22 which extends along the upper surface of a wheel house, and is coupled with the upper surface of the wheel house to form a closed section. In the rear side outer frame, its rear part is coupled with the rear side frame at the back side of the wheel house, and its front part is coupled with the reinforcing member on the upper surface of the wheel house.
