PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with which color status (saturation and hue) corresponding to set values of an image-processing operation can be visually recognized with ease. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has an image sensor which acquires image data. The imaging apparatus has an image-processing unit which performs an image-processing operation on the image data. The imaging apparatus has a display unit which displays an image-processing setting picture (P3) having setting-status indication areas (IP10, IP20, IP51, and IP62) showing setting status of the image-processing operation and a color status indication area IP70 displaying a diagrammatic representation of color status in the setting status. The setting-status indication area shows hue in the image-processing operation, as the setting status. The color status indication area has a figure that shows saturations of a plurality of color components in order to display the diagrammatic representation of the color status; and the figure is displayed in the color status indication area while being rotated according to the hue.
