PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper classifying device, a printer and a paper classifying program, capable of classifying documents to perform sorting suitable for recycling or reuse at a paper delivery part of the printer. SOLUTION: A document reading section 28 reads image information of documents, and a document classifying section 30 classifies the documents according to the kinds of the documents based on the image information, and stores the classified result as classification information in an HDD 32. A document sorting section 34 delivers the documents set to a paper feeding part 58, to a first delivery part 60 and a second delivery part 62 of a paper delivery part 56 for every kind of documents based on the classification information.
