PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly which prevents a liquid from flowing into a filling head assembly and prevents the liquid from leaking. SOLUTION: The valve assembly includes: a housing 2 attached to the filling head assembly 1; a hollow tubular valve 6 which is supported in the housing 2 so as to freely slide and through which a liquid passes; and a valve seat unit 5 disposed between the housing 2 and the filling head assembly 1. The valve seat unit 5 includes: a valve seat support 5a which is fixed to a liquid inlet of the filling head assembly 1 and has a plurality of openings 5d in its periphery and a screw hole which does not extend up to the central part of the side opposite to the valve 6; and a valve seat 5b fixed to the side of the valve seat support 5a, which side is opposite to the valve 6, by means of a screw 5c threadedly engaged with the screw hole.
