PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a continuous casting Al alloy rod, which method can manufacture the continuous casting Al alloy rod having excellent quality by efficiently removing the portions of casting surfaces, and can easily suppress the generation of defects. SOLUTION: The method of the present invention comprises a step 101 for obtaining molten Al alloy, a step 201 for processing the molten alloy, a step 301 of continuous casting, a step 701 of heat treatment, a step 1001 of a first correcting process for correcting the bend of the continuous casting rod, a step 1101 for removing an outer peripheral portion, a step 1301 of a second correcting process for correcting the bend of the rod, a step 1401 of the non-destructive inspection for inspecting the surface portion and the inside portion, a step 1501 of selection, and a step 1701 of packing. At least the step 1001 of the first correcting process and the following steps are continuously performed. The step 1401 of non-destructive inspection has a first non-destructive inspection step 1410 and a second non-destructive inspection step 1450. The cutting conditions in the step for removing an outer peripheral portion are controlled based on the inspected results of the first non-destructive inspection step, and the casting conditions in the continuous casting step are controlled based on the inspected results in the second non-destructive inspection step.
