A solar battery panel is provided with a substrate (1) and a plurality of power generating cells (5). The substrate (1) is provided with a first side (1a), a second side (1b), a third side (1c) and a fourth side (1d). The power generating cells (5) are arranged on the substrate (1) along the first side (1a) and are connected in series. The power generating cells (5) are provided with a first groove (15a) along the first side (1a) in the vicinity of the first side (1a), and a second groove (15b) along the second side (1b) in the vicinity of the second side (1b), and the cells are not provided with a groove along the third side (1c) in the vicinity of the third side (1c) and a groove along the fourth side (1d) in the vicinity of the fourth side (1d). The first groove (15a) and the second groove (15b) are formed toward the surface of the substrate (1) from the surfaces of the power generating cells (5), and extended to the vicinity of the third side (1c) and the fourth side (1d) not to reach the end of the substrate (1). |
