PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a storage device during virus scanning and prevent a decrease in file access speed from a client to the storage device in a netboot system. SOLUTION: An information processor 100 comprises: a mount management section 110 for setting allocation of a volume corresponding to a relevant user terminal and setting the use status and use purpose of the volume corresponding to the relevant user terminal with respect to a client device 300; a scanning target specification section 111 for detecting a timing for virus scanning, retrieving an unused volume X, and setting the allocation of a client device Y to the unused volume X in a volume allocation management table 125 when the use status of a different volume having the same user terminal as that allocated to the unused volume X is below a predetermined level; and a scanning instruction section 112 for notifying an instruction for virus scanning to a scanning program in a disk image mounted on the client device Y.
