PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily display an image even if an amount of data is extremely large. SOLUTION: A connection/attribute creating section 164 creates first label information which is imparted to a plurality of pickup images picked up by respective several image sensors and includes at least the identifiers of the picked-up images and position information within the view field of an objective lens. A buffer 163 stores the picked-up images and the first label information while associated with each other. A connection/attribute creating section 166 creates second label information which is imparted to a one view field image when several stored picked-up images are connected as one view field image, i.e., an image of one field of view of the objective lens, and which includes at least the identifier of the one view field image and position information within an observation view field. A buffer 165 stores the one view field image and the second label information while associated with each other. This invention can be applied to a microscope system which has a microscope.
