PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor with a decelerator, which has sufficient reliability in water repellency while suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost by improving moldability of constituting components and preventing an increase in the number of components. SOLUTION: A cylindrical portion 38 and a watering prevention wall 40 are provided on a bottom portion 34a so as to be toward the outside of a gear case 34, and a communicating hole 42 is formed between the cylindrical portion 38 and the watering prevention wall 40. With this configuration, the gear case 34 can be molded using a vertically moving molding die, and the moldability of the gear case can be improved. Further, utilizing a sealing member 50 provided between an output shaft 16 and the cylindrical portion 38, an umbrella portion 52 is provided on the outer periphery of the sealing member 50 to cover the communicating hole 42, thereby bending air flow from a portion of the sealing member 50 where the umbrella portion 52 is not provided to the communicating hole 42. Thus, direct watering to the communicating hole 42 is prevented while suppressing an increase in the number of components, and the reliability in water repellency can be ensured.
