PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of improving heat exchanging capacity even when an aluminum tube is used in a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner comprising an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger and a four-way valve, and performing a cooling operation and a heating operation by switching the four-way valve, the heat exchanger used as a condenser, of the heat exchangers comprises a copper tube disposed at an upstream side of refrigerant flow, and the aluminum tube connected with a downstream side of the refrigerant flow of the copper tube and having an inner diameter smaller than that of the copper tube.
