PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric carpet adding a far infrared ray effect and a negative ion effect realized by heating conglomerate hornfels fine powder to comfortability of a common electric carpet. SOLUTION: The inventors overcame the problem by focusing attention on a particle size and a content of the conglomerate hornfels included in an upper face of a surface material of the electric carpet, as a result of devoted examination for resolving the problem. By including the conglomerate hornfels with a particle size of 2-200μm and 4-40g/m<SP>2</SP>of the conglomerate hornfels fine powder, the electric carpet providing the far infrared radiation effect and the negative ion effect was found, to attain the present invention.
