PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for executing the idea that the bending of a pin, particularly, the bending of a first pin is desirably restricted to a maximum. SOLUTION: This transmission chain comprises a plurality of links mutually joined via rocker assemblies. The rocker assembles each have two longitudinal pins for rolling with each other, one of which interacts with a pulley opposed to a pair of pulley sheaves in a force transmissive manner and each of which has a first size (b) in the longitudinal direction, a second size (h) in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the travelling direction of the chain, and a third size (d) in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the travelling direction, where a value for each of the two other sizes (h), (d) is as smaller as possible than a value for the first size (b) in consideration of the predicted load of the chain.
