PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic formulated with a plant ingredient, which has excellent effects on moisturizing and properties of retaining the effect together with good use feeling, is good in compatibility and stability of the plant ingredient with general cosmetic components, and can be mass-produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: The cosmetic is formulated with the ingredient of a plant belonging to the genus Dioscorea of the family Dioscoreaceae.
