PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asbestos-treating method using an asbestos-treating agent for bottling up internal asbestos fiber by a coating or spraying treatment on a building structure including the asbestos fiber. SOLUTION: The asbestos-treating method for bottling up the asbestos fiber in the existing building structure including the asbestos fiber so as to prevent the asbestos fiber component in the structure from being peeled off comprises a step of preparing the first and second asbestos-treating agents, a step of treating the structure with the first asbestos-treating agent by coating or spraying the first asbestos-treating agent on the surface Ha of the existing building structure H to impregnate the interior of the existing building structure therewith, a net member-extending step of extending a net member N made of an alkali-resistant glass fiber through a net member-extending means 1 on the surface of the existing building structure along the surface of the existing building structure, and a step of treating the existing building structure in combination with the net member by the second asbestos-treating agent by spray-coating of the second asbestos-treating agent from above the net member.
