SOLUTION: The AGE formation inhibiting agent contains a homopiperazine derivative, its salt, or their solvates expressed by general formula (1) (wherein, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5and R6are each independently a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, a 1-6C alkyl group, a 1-6C alkyloxy group, a 2-6C acyloxy group, or a 1-6C alkylcarbonato group; and m and n are each independently an integer of 2 or 3) as an active component.
