PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a highly accurate image on a printing medium at high speed. SOLUTION: In a head section, a plurality of lines of ejection ports are arranged at fixed intervals in a scanning direction. The intervals between the lines of ejecting positions 751 to 754 on printing paper on which ink is ejected from the lines of ejection ports are also W. In the plurality of lines of ejecting positions 751 to 754, the ejecting positions 741 are deviated in the width direction perpendicular to the scanning direction. When printing paper is moved at a standard speed, standard drawing is performed such that the ejection ports perform ejection operations toward drawing positions present at drawing pitches on the printing paper 9 in the scanning direction. When printing paper is moved at a speed which is N (i.e., an aliquot part of the number of the lines of ejection ports) times higher than the standard speed, N-time speed drawing is performed such that in each ejection port group in which the N number each of the ejection ports are continuous in the width direction in the plurality of ejection ports, the ejection ports perform ejection operations toward drawing positions present at drawing pitches in order from the ejection ports of each of the ejection port groups.
