PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording head with high reliability which can discharge an ink drop formed into a small droplet at a high frequency while suppressing the generation of a satellite or mist. SOLUTION: A foaming chamber 8 wherein an energy generating element 4 is arranged and an outlet port 7 formed at a position opposite to the energy generating element 4 communicate with each other through an outlet port part 6. The outlet port part 6 is formed so that flow resistance against an ink in an area R1 located at the back side apart from the center of the outlet port 7 may be smaller than resistance in an area R2 located at the front side apart from the center of the outlet port 7 in the feeding direction of the ink which flows along an ink supply channel 9.
