PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp mechanism that does not require any strong force for releasing a clamp during unclamping even in the case of a clamp mechanism of a circular table for applying a large clamping force by increasing the operating force of a piston. SOLUTION: A clamp structure in an index table has a boosting means which is arranged between a piston and a friction plate to boost the force of the piston and transmit it to the friction plate. The boosting means is constituted of a lever member having a supporting point part in contact with a body, an input unit for receiving the force of the piston, and a pressing unit for boosting the force received by the input unit and transmitting it to the friction plate.
