A product information providing method is provided to conveniently and effectively purchase a product in a complicated store by receiving value added information and product exhibition information through a wireless terminal. A cart transmits product information provided from a smart card to a product information providing server(100). The product information providing server extracts display location information or added information of a product corresponding to product information transmitted from the cart and transmits the extracted information to a wireless terminal(150) of the client.
