APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROPAGATING THE TRAFFIC EMERGENCY USING SENSOR NETWORK

An apparatus, a system, and a method for propagating a traffic emergency situation are provided to prevent an follow-up accident by informing a rear vehicle of the traffic emergency situation in real time. A wireless communication unit(220) receives a reference message from a reference node on a road and transmits or receives the emergency message to or from a node in an adjacent vehicle. A controller(210) recognizes the emergency situation, generates an emergency message, and transmits the emergency situation to the rear vehicle through the wireless communication unit. The controller controls the wireless communication unit to retransmit the emergency message when receiving the emergency message from other vehicle. The controller determines the propagation range of the emergency message intellectually.
