<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for tracking an input device, which uses positional information of a display screen in frames of image data to determine the relative position of the input device with respect to the display screen. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises: an input device including an image sensor array configured to fetch frames of image data, the frames of image data including at least part of the display screen; and a navigation engine operably connected to the image sensor to process the frames of image data, wherein the navigation engine extracts the positional information of the display screen within the frames of image data, and the navigation engine determines the relative position of the input device with respect to the display screen using the position information of the display screen within the frames of image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
