PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of a semiconductor integrated circuit during a stand-by period without separately providing a terminal to which a switching signal for drive and stop is given. SOLUTION: This semiconductor integrated circuit is equipped with a current mirror circuit 3 in which two transistors P1, P2having emitters connected to a power supply terminal 6 and mutually connected bases, a MOS-FET 2 connected between the collector of one transistor P1of the current mirror circuit 3 and the ground, a driving circuit 1 connected to the collector of the other transistor P2of the current mirror circuit 3, and an input terminal 7 to supply an input signal V7to the input terminal 1a of the driving circuit 1 and the gate of the MOS-FET 2. In this semiconductor integrated circuit, the MOS-FET 2 is switched on to pass a fixed current I1to one transistor P1of the current mirror circuit 3 by giving an input signal V7to an input terminal 7, and at the same time, a current I2is supplied to the driving circuit 1 through the other transistor P2to generate an output signal V8from the driving circuit 1.
