SEAT PAD, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND FOAMING MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate that the appearance quality of a seat is deteriorated by a burr to be molded when a seat pad is foam-molded and to reduce deburring man-hours. SOLUTION: A foaming mold 50 is prepared so that a concave part 68 for forming a projecting piece 18 is arranged on the joint surface 64 of a lower mold 52 to an upper mold 56 and a convex part 74 for forming a housing concave part 20 in a pad main body 16 is arranged adjacently to the concave part 68 for forming the projecting piece. A foamable raw material is foamed and packed in a cavity 58 of the prepared foaming mold 50. As a result, the seat pad 10 can be obtained which is provided with: the projecting piece 18 foam-molded into a shape projected from the pad main body 16 along a parting line 72; and the housing concave part 20 formed in the pad main body 16 so that the projecting piece of a bent state toward the side of the pad main body 16 can be housed therein.
