PROCESSED PIGMENT, PIGMENT DISPERSION COMPOSITION USING IT, COLORATION PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION, AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed pigment, which exhibits good dispersibility and good development characteristics even if it is pulverized for obtaining a color filter excellent in color properties such as contrast, a pigment dispersion liquid, and a photosensitive composition. SOLUTION: The processed pigment is coated with a polymer compound having a heterocyclic ring in a side chain. This has advantage of hardly generating deposits in a developer during a developing process of the color filter production. It is considered that the polymer compound does not desorbed by an alkali developer since the polymer compound is strongly adsorbed to the fine pigment. The color filter using the treated pigment coated with the polymer compound having a heterocyclic ring in a side chain is excellent in voltage retention of a liquid crystal. It is considered that a dispersion process or elution of ions in the color filter can be suppressed effectively since the polymer compound is strongly adsorbed to the fine pigment.
