PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image reproducing device capable of extending and displaying feature image data in a non-effective region with little important information, and minimizing a decrease in a bus band of a memory. SOLUTION: The image reproducing device 101 includes: an image region extracting part 6 for extracting a feature image with predetermined feature from the input image information; a magnifying part 5 for processing the extracted feature image; a non-effective region determining part 8 for determining the region with little effective information from the input image information in accordance with a predetermined standard; a magnified letter display position determining part 7 for determining a position for displaying the processed feature image based on the position information of the feature image and the non-effective region information determined by the non-effective region determining part 8; and a frame memory control part 3 for superimposing the input image information and the processed feature image and outputting them in accordance with output of the magnified letter display position determining part 7.
