PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a harmful effect caused by the space between aperture arrays for arranging a plurality of parabolic antennas. SOLUTION: In an aperture array antenna, a plurality of aperture antennas are arranged on a plane, and radio waves are radiated and received by a plurality of entire aperture antennas. The aperture array antenna has an electromagnetic wave coupling element 106, which is separated from a metal reflecting plate 104 installed in space among the plurality of aperture antennas by a prescribed distance (h), is provided at an upper portion of the metal reflecting plate 104, is arranged so that the aperture array antenna is overlapped to the aperture surface of the aperture antenna partially, is coupled to the plurality of adjacent aperture antennas electromagnetically for excitation, comprises a dielectric, and has length l.
