PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split nut easy to be handled and managed by unifying each of structural parts and easy to be fitted and removed. SOLUTION: Hinge parts 3 of each of split nut pieces 2A and 2B are turnably coupled to each other, and an engagement part 4 of the first split nut piece 2A is formed with a pin slide hole 41 passing through in the axial direction, and a lock pin 6 longer than the length of the pin slide hole 41 is slidably supported by the pin slide hole 41, and an engagement part 4 of the second split nut piece 2B is formed with a pin fitting hole 42 communicated with the pin slide hole 41 so that a tip of the lock pin 6 can be fitted when overlapping with the first split nut piece 2A in the axial direction for engagement. The lock pin 6 is supported, projecting from the bottom surface of the first split nut piece 2A, and when the lock pin 6 is pushed from the bottom surface side, the lock pin 6 is slid toward the second split nut piece 2B, and a tip thereof is fitted in the pin fitting hole 42.
