PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric generating system for efficiently generating an alternative energy with a low ecological load with a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: The electric generating system 10 includes a plurality of stepping plate members 12 each disposed in each of stepped portions KP of a step, spring members 18 for biasing the stepping plate members 12 upwardly, hinge portions 16 for each rotatably securing an edge portion 12E1 of the stepping plate member 12 on the deeper side, and electric generating devices 28 for each generating electricity by receiving a driving force transmitted due to an up-and-down movement of the stepping plate member 12.
