PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that variations at the time of manufacturing of nozzles and at the time of manufacturing of connecting parts of a head and a chip sometimes give rise to streak irregularities and density irregularities in an image formed by ink jetting. SOLUTION: The liquid jet apparatus is equipped with a first nozzle array group and a second nozzle array group each consisting of a group of a plurality of nozzle arrays in which a plurality of nozzles for jetting liquid droplets to a medium are arranged, having the same array direction of the nozzle arrays; and a dot forming part which forms dots to the medium by making liquid droplets jetted from a plurality of the nozzles of the plurality of nozzle arrays which constitute the first nozzle array group, and a plurality of the nozzles of the plurality of nozzle arrays which constitute the second nozzle array group. The dot forming part forms the dots formed by jetting the liquid droplets from the plurality of nozzles of the plurality of nozzle arrays which constitute the first nozzle array group and the dots formed by jetting liquid droplets from the plurality of nozzles of the plurality of nozzle arrays which constitute the second nozzle array group to be alternately arranged in a direction perpendicular to the array direction.
