An apparatus, a system, and a method for locally displaying a traffic emergency situation using a sensor network are provided to inform a driver on a peripheral road of accident information by transmitting control information through a portable terminal wirelessly and making a display unit of a traffic emergency situation display unit emit the light. A wireless communication unit transmits or receives the data to or from a portable terminal or other display devices. A display unit(120) displays the traffic situation information to the outside. A controller(130) receives and processes the data received from the communication unit and controls the operation of the display unit or the wireless communication unit.
