The vehicle (1) has a set of control elements for a multimedia system, where the elements are combined into two control units (7, 8). The control unit (7) is arranged as a remote control in a fastener. The fastener is arranged in arm rests (9, 10, 11). The arm rests are provided in doors between a driver's seat (12) and passenger seat (13) or at a back seat of the vehicle. The remote control is removable from the fastener for operation and connected with the vehicle by utilizing connecting elements e.g. cables.
