摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which improves radiation performance without upsizing the planar shape of the main body of the device, is suitable for placement utilizing an embedding hole already opened in a ceiling, and reduces the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: A downlight 1 includes: the main body 5 of the device; a light source 21 in which LED 23 is mounted on a light source substrate 22; and an electric power supply 41. The main body 5 includes: a bottom wall 8; an annular sidewall 10 which sections a substrate holder 5a having an opened upper end together with the bottom wall 8 and stands up from the bottom wall 8 to have flat side walls 10a and 10b on its part; and a plurality of radiator fins 15 and 16 which are projected integrally in the external surfaces of the side walls 10a and 10b and extend vertically. The light source 21 is placed so that the substrate 22 contacts closely with the under surface of the bottom wall 8. The electric power supply 41 is arranged on the substrate holder 5a so that a plurality of electrical components 43 that control the lighting current of the LED 23 are mounted on a power board 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
