PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk drive device for relatively easily suppressing wobbling during rotation. SOLUTION: A sealed recording disk drive device 11 includes a thrust bearing 25 for supporting a lower end of a rotating shaft 37. A hub 38 having a top surface lower than an upper end of the rotating shaft 37 is attached to the rotating shaft 37. The thrust bearing 25 is supported by a housing 12. A gasket is interposed between the housing 12 and the thrust bearing 25. When the rotating shaft 37 is built in the housing 12, pressing force is applied to the upper end of the rotating shaft 37. The pressing force is transmitted via the lower end of the rotating shaft 37 to the thrust bearing 25. The gasket is crushed between the thrust bearing 25 and the housing 12. The top surface of the hub 38 is positioned lower than the upper end of the rotating shaft 37, so that the pressing force is applied to the rotating shaft 37.
