PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposer allowing a worker to safely conducting installation work even by oneself by tentatively holding the lower part casing to the upper part casing. SOLUTION: The disposer is provided with a sink flange 51 for fitting the charging opening part 7a of the upper part side to the drain port of the sink, a hopper 3 having a garbage crushing chamber 7 which can communicate with the charging opening part 7a, a joint rubber 90 having one tube end fixed to the sink flange 51 and the other tube end part fixed to the hopper 3 and communicating with the charging opening part 7a and the garbage crushing chamber 7 by connecting the sink flange 51 and the hopper 3 in a watertight state and an auxiliary spring member 60 arranged at the outer peripheral side of the joint rubber 90 and suspending the hopper 3 to the sink flange 51 by cooperation with a joint driver 90.
