PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which prevents wrinkling of paper regardless of the long use of the device and ensures the greatly prolonged life time of it, and to provide the others. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a fixing roll; an endless belt which is movable in contact with the fixing roll; and a pressure member which is disposed inside the endless belt and brings the endless belt into firm contact with the fixing roll, thereby forming a nip part between the fixing roll and endless belt, through which a recording material is passed. The pressure member includes: an elastic member which is disposed upstream in the moving direction of the endless belt; and a peeling member 64b which is disposed downstream in the moving direction of the endless belt and has a plurality of projections and recesses on a face D disposed opposite to and in contact with the stretchable face of the elastic member.
