PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector preventing a housing part where the exhaust hole of a louver or the like is formed from being heated and reducing noise caused by exhaust air. SOLUTION: The projector is equipped with a light source device, a light source side optical system, a display element, a projector side optical system, a cooling fan, a projector control means, and a projector housing incorporating theses various devices. The projector housing has the grid-shaped louver 12 equipped with the exhaust hole 17, and a plurality of cylindrical heat insulating members 151 formed of elastomer are arranged inside the grid of the louver 12.
