PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-refill writing utensil that is designed to eliminate interference sound between spiral springs which sound tends to occur by making a barrel thinner. SOLUTION: In the multi-refill writing utensil 1, a first spring seat 21a is situated in front from a second spring seat 22a, and therefore, as shown in Fig.6, when a push-button 6 is in a stationary state, namely, when the spiral spring 15 is in an extended state, the end 15a of the spiral spring 15 primarily comes in contact with the first spring seat 21a. Meantime, as shown in Fig.7, when the push-button 6 is pressed down against the spring force, the spiral spring 15 is primarily kept pressurized by the first spring seat 21a, so that the spiral spring 15 can be forced to bend in a manner bulging out to the outside, i.e., to the inner periphery 4e side of the barrel 4. As a result, even with the thinner barrel 4, the interference sound is hardly generated which is caused by rubbing between the spiral springs 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
