PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape processor which is simple in structure, and prevents a tape piece from being drawn back inside the device. SOLUTION: The tape processor is formed of: a tape discharge port 32 formed in a device case 12; a tape cutting mechanism 61 approaching and facing the tape discharge port 32 from inside the device case 12, for cutting a processed portion of a printed tape T that has been delivered into the tape discharge port 32; and a backward movement inhibiting mechanism 62 facing a tape discharge passage 60 of the tape discharge port 32, for inhibiting the tape piece that is the processed portion cut out by the tape cutting mechanism 61, from moving backward into the device case 12.
