PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end working machine surely preventing a failure in working an end of an extrusion molded product, and also to provide a method of working the end. SOLUTION: The end working machine for working the vicinity of an end 2a of the extrusion molded product 2 formed to be hollow includes: a working table 3 on which the extrusion molded product 2 is mounted; a rotary blade for cutting an approximately V-shaped groove 20 in the vicinity of the end 2a of the product 2; and a push-in piece 5 provided in the vicinity of the working table 3 and protruding toward the table 3 for holding an inner wall surface 21 toward the tip from the groove 20 formed on the product 2. Thus, unlike conventional ones, the end side of the extrusion molded product is prevented from being bent when the product is cut by the rotary blade to form the groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
