The invention relates to microcapsules comprising the following: 1) a core containing a fragrance and/or flavor and/or a biological active ingredient that is optionally associated with a solid or liquid carrier, and 2) a wall that is preferably semipermeable and/or may be destroyed by mechanical pressure, temperature, or moisture. Said microcapsules represent a sole filler or a filler in conjunction with other fillers for a hollow or porous formed body or one or more parts of the same, wherein the formed body comprises an inlet and outlet for air.
