A locking apparatus of gearshift is provided to secure the stability and reliability since the operation of the gearshift in which operator does not intend is prevented. A locking apparatus of gearshift comprises a lever knob including gearshift, a lever cable(20) including the accommodation space which is connected in the automatic transmission mode with the lever knob, a groove which is fixed to the car body while including the bent groove surface, a guide roller(40) contacting the groove surface it is adopted to the accommodation space, a button lock(30) which is contactable to the lower part of the guide roller, and which passes through the lever cable.
