CONTROL METHOD OF DIGITAL CAMERA PROVIDING PROFILE OF IMAGE

A control method of a digital camera for providing only the contour of an image is provided to photograph a subject and extract/store the contour of the photographed image. If a user turns a digital camera on, the digital camera enters a photographing stand-by mode for photographing a subject(211). If the user turns a mode dial to select a painting mode, the digital camera enters the painting mode(221). The digital camera photographs the subject(231). A controller removes the color of the photographed image to convert the image into a black and white image(241), removes the black color from the black and white image to extract the contour of the subject(251), and then stores the extracted contour image in a memory(261).
