<p>The plate has a fixed body (11) with a triggering mechanism e.g. release spring, for releasing a ski boot by opening the plate when the force is greater than predetermined threshold. A lever (12) has jaws (14), in its anterior part, cooperated with a heel of the boot, where openings (20) are provided on the lever. The lever is rotatably mounted around a rotation axle (13) with respect to the body for occupying two positions corresponding to open and closed positions of the plate. The axle is maintained at the body of the plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a heel plate for a ski boot.</p> |
