CASCODE AMPLIFIER AND DIFFERENTIAL CASCODE VOLTAGE CONTROL OSCILLATOR USING THE SAME

A cascode amplifier and a differential cascode voltage control oscillator are provided to reduce a phase noise by applying a scheme of improving quality factor having a negative conductance. A cascode amplifier includes a first and second capacitor(C101,C102) and a first and a second transistor(NMOS101, NMOS102). The first and the second capacitor have a negative conductance, and the first and the second transistor amplifies input signal, which is outputted to an output terminal. The first and the second transistor and the first and the second capacitor are connected in cascade. The first capacitor is between the drain and source of the first transistor, and the second capacitor is between the gate and the source of the first transistor.
