APPARTUS FOR CONTROLLING THE POSITION OF CRANE TONG ACCORDING TO SLAB BENDING AND THE METHOD THEREOF

An apparatus for controlling a position of a crane tong according to slab bending and a control method thereof are provided to prevent a fall caused by a failure of bended slab by determining a grip location of the ton finally. An apparatus for controlling a position of a crane tong according to slab bending comprises the followings: a side sensing unit(20) detecting air gap generated by the bending of slab and installed by the tong(11) of a crane(10); a distance sensing unit(30) sensing distance between the crane and the slab; an control unit(40) controlling a final grip position of a container by using air gap information detected by the side sensing unit and the distance sensing unit.
