<p>An air-conditioner and an operating method are provided to improve the operation control convenience of an indoor unit by identically operating the indoor unit included in a schedule group in demand control or peak power control. An air-conditioner comprises one or more outdoor units(01), and a plurality of indoor units(I1~I5) connected to the outdoor unit. A plurality of schedule groups is set up to operate one or more indoor units with the same schedule. In case the electric energy consumed with electrical machinery including the air-conditioner is greater than a demand standard value, a remote controller(10) controls one or more operations among a plurality of schedule groups so that the electric energy is lowered below the standard value.</p> |
